A Christmas Carol - 2014
This was a small production of 18 people, for which I designed or created all of the costumed involved. As this was a short, humorous adaptation of the Charles Dickens classic Christmas story, I had a lot of artistic license and some unusual requirements. I chose to set the production in the 1860s rather than the 1840s, and had to create costumes, accessories, and props that could easily be made to convey a wide range of scenes and characters without leaving the stage.

Les Misérables - 2015
This was by far the most challenging and rewarding production I have costumed. Les Misérables had a cast of over 40 people, for which I was the Costume Concepts and Construction Supervisor. Les Misérables is set over the course of 17 years in the early 19th century, and includes characters ranging from prisoners and beggars to students and nobility. Since the budget for costuming a cast of this size was very limited, costuming the ensemble members was an exercise in using modern clothing and strategic accessories to convey the desired look and mood for the play.

Camelot - 2016
This musical from the 1960s was a lot of fun to costume. Knights and ladies, King Arthur, Guenevere, and a handful of fairies and wizards made costuming this 20 person production a colorful, fantastical project. From Lancelot's chain mail and King Arthur's armor to Guenevere's flower crown, the costumes in this play transported the audience into a world of magic, romance, and legend.

Macbeth - 2014
One of Shakespeare's better known plays, Macbeth is a dark and gruesome piece, with plenty of ghosts, betrayal, magic, and battles. This was the first theater production I ever did costuming for, and I designed and made the costumes for my sister and myself in the 10 roles we played between us. These included The Bloody Captain, Lady Macbeth's lady-in-waiting, the three Apparitions, and a handful of servants and soldiers.
