My name is Nikki Steninger, and I have been a passionate historical and fantasy costumer for the last 9 years. I've done costuming for Theater productions, I've recreated clothing from a wide range of time periods ranging from Roman to mid-19th century, and have also done fantasy costuming. I was Unschooled through high school, which is a method of self-directed learning that puts the impetus of education on the student. I have completed a 10-week fashion design course with the Dublin Institute of Design, and did a semester with the gap-year program UnCollege. My other interests include many styles of dance, playing and singing traditional Irish music, and traveling around the US and other parts of the world.
